So, as many of you know...I've alway's been a big fan of local acoustic musicians...I discovered one band in Colorado shortly after moving there in 2001...Newcomers Home...kind of a celtic inspired band...I became sort of like a groupie...going to coffee shops, bars, and small venues watching them perform...In 2006 they decided to go out on their own...there last show as a band was at The Boulder Theater on Jan 26th, 2006...the good news - the lead singer Katie Herzig (the most talented of the group) decided to move to Nashville and go out on her own...Katherine and I are big fan's of hers and thought maybe some of you would enjoy her music...sounds kind of strange, but I feel a big connection to this band and my time in Colorado...you know how you can hear a song and it put's you back in a certain place and time...that's what it's like when I hear Katie's music...
