Chris finished college and disappeared (as far as his family could tell), on his personal odyssey. He planned to make his way to Alaska, live there on as close to nothing as possible for as long as possible.

Marley & Me by John Grogan is an engaging book that uses the story of a crazy dog as a framework for talking about life, love and the struggles of beginning a marriage, starting a family and making the most of every moment. This is a must read for anyone who has ever loved a pet. Marley & Me, however, is for more than pet people. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good story.

This book basically outlines what I've gone through with Duke and what I'm getting ready to go through. I'm not a huge reader, but this book is so well written. Loved every minute, even cried like a little baby...(JA)
