26 Days To Go!

Can you believe it...I can't...Only 26 days (give or take some) until Zeke meets us all...Katherine had a doctor's appt this morning (she's now going every week) and everything is going as planned...the boy has dropped and his head is facing downward...heartbeat was 148 and Mom has started to have some minor contractions...It's now time to let nature take its course...

21 weeks and 5 days

We have decided on the name...William Archer Andrews...He shall be called "Zeke"...Named after Katherine's grandfather...We are heading to a wedding Saturday in Atlanta...maybe we can take a decent picture to upload on here so you can see how lovely my wife looks pregnant.

What changes are occurring with your body?

You can now feel the top of your uterus about ¾ of an inch above your belly button. As we talked about last week, many women describe this as a comfortable period of pregnancy.*

How big is your baby?

Your baby is approximately 9 inches long and weighs a whole 14 ounces.*

What is happening with your baby?

Your baby has pretty much taken on the form of a newborn baby, but is incredibly small. Much development will continue to occur over the next 18 weeks. His or her skin appears wrinkly, but this is because he/she has not yet gained enough weight to fill the skin out. The lips are becoming more distinct. The eyes have completely formed, but the iris (the colored portion of the eye) still lacks pigment. The eyelids and eyebrows are in place, and the pancreas is continuing to mature.*

Ultrasound Day

Had our doctor's appointment this morning...everything looks healthy and normal...weighed in at 9 ounces..Boy or Girl? Watch to find out...

17 weeks and Living the Dream...

New Life

Going on 15 weeks pregnant...Heard the heartbeat today...sounded strong...Still amazed by the New Life we've created...When will it start to feel real...seems like we're just waiting for "the change" to happen...New Life...we find out the sex on 0628...makes you start thinging how it all started...everything seemed to fit together like a puzzle...I've included a slideshow of our wedding ceremony to remember how it started...hopefully you enjoy....New Life...excited and nervous...Missing Colorado...Man, I must say how beautiful my wife looks while pregnant...I'm Lucky...New Life!!! (JA)
